Aim:
To extend the studies of GAS2391/GAS2382 and GAS2381/GAS2382 by examining some specific applications of electronic instrumentation and radioisotopes in industry and the environment.

Unit outline:
Topics include analogue and digital electronics, sensors, logic devices and signal processing. Radioisotope work includes radiotracer techniques and other industrial application of radioisotopes.
Assessment is by progressive assessment (70%) and laboratory work (30%).

Prerequisite(s): GAS2391.
